The Sony 40XBR6 was a breeze setting up. Excellent color and easy follow up instructions on the screen menu.I placed this set in my bedroom. I have no problem with the remote or the overall TV operation. I looked at the Sony 40XBR7 and as far as I am concerned there is no difference except a lower price on the 40XBR6.
